This page contains the terms and conditions for shopping on the HLC brand website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products from us. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. By placing an order with HLC, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years of age (or have your parents' permission to purchase) and accept these terms and conditions, which apply to all orders placed or to be placed with HLC and the supply of any product. None of these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights. No other terms or amendments to the terms and conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing and signed by us.

These T&Cs for using this website are subject to Portuguese law currently in force. Any conflict or difference in interpretation will be submitted to the court with territorial jurisdiction. If the User resides outside Portugal, the Portuguese courts are hereby agreed to be competent.

AGBs

All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by HLC as responsible for the personal information. The personal information you provide will be used to ensure deliveries to you, the credit assessment, to provide offers and information on our catalog to you. The information you provide is only available to HLC and will not be shared with other third parties. You have the right to inspect the information held about you. You always have the right to request HLC to delete or correct the information held about you.

PRICES AND TITLES

We make every effort to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are correct. However, we reserve the right to change all product prices without prior notice.

DISCOUNTS

Newsletter subscribers receive a 10% discount voucher on their first purchase. Promotional vouchers cannot be combined with other campaigns already in effect. Discounts do not apply to the HLC+ premium collection.

DELIVERIES

All orders received by us are shipped according to availability. We reserve the right to ship products at a later date if the product ordered is out of stock at the time of purchase. In this situation, the customer will be contacted and offered a refund instead of delivery of the product. Orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days of purchase, unless otherwise stated in the product description—please note if you are purchasing something on pre-order. If you purchase multiple items and one is noted as pre-order, all items will be shipped together at the later date. The customer can request multiple deliveries in this case. To receive your other items more quickly, please contact order@hlc.pt.

Once your order has been processed, the customer will receive confirmation by email. If you do not receive it, please contact us at order@hlc.pt. Average transit times are as follows (please note that if you choose a pre-order item, this time will only apply after shipment):

Portugal: 2-3 business days
Europe: 2-15 business days
Worldwide: 2-15 business days
We are based in Portugal (Europe), so please note that the customer is responsible for paying any extra fees, customs duties, import taxes, or taxes imposed by the destination country for delivery within the European Union.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS

If the customer chooses to refuse their shipments, they will be responsible for any fees, taxes, and/or customs charges incurred on the package and the cost of returning the package to our address in Portuguese. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.

CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS

HLC strives to respond to all customer complaints or queries within 5 business days. However, during periods of high order volume, this period may be extended to 10 business days.

FORCE MAJEURE

Events beyond HLC's control, which are not reasonably foreseeable, will be considered force majeure, meaning that HLC is released from HLC's obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Examples of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes, or failure of suppliers to deliver. Force majeure also includes government decisions that negatively affect the market and products, e.g., restrictions, warnings, bans, etc.

PAYMENT METHOD

All products remain the property of HLC until full payment has been made. The applicable price is that set on the date the customer places their order. Shipping costs and payment fees are acknowledged before confirming the purchase. If the customer is under 18 years of age, they must have parental permission to purchase from HLC. All transfers made through HLC are handled and transacted through dedicated third-party gateways to ensure your protection. Card information is not stored, and all card information is handled using SSL encryption. Please read the terms and conditions of the payment gateway chosen for the transaction, as they are responsible for the transactions made.

LOCAL TAXES

Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duties) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

COOKIES

HLC uses cookies in accordance with the new Electronic Communications Act, which came into force on July 25, 2003. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that contains information that helps the website identify and track visitors. Cookies do not cause damage to your computer, consist only of text, cannot contain viruses, and take up virtually no space on your hard drive. There are two types of cookies: “Session cookies” and cookies that are permanently saved on your computer.

The first type of cookie commonly used is “Session cookies.” During the period that the customer visits the website, our server assigns a unique identifier string to their browser so as not to confuse them with other visitors. A “session cookie” is never stored permanently on your computer and disappears when the customer closes their browser. To use HLC without problems, you need to have cookies enabled.

The second type of cookie saves a file permanently on your computer. This type of cookie is used to track how visitors move around the website. This is used solely to offer visitors better services and support. Text files can be deleted. At HLC, we use this type of cookie to track your shopping cart and maintain statistics on our visitors. The information stored on your computer is only a unique number, with no connection to personal information.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

HLC reserves the right to change any information, including, but not limited to, prices, technical specifications, purchase terms, and product offerings without prior notice. In the event that a product is out of stock, HLC has the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the best possible way. HLC will also notify the customer of equivalent replacement products, if available. Please note that use of this website and any service contained therein constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

EXCHANGES

All exchanges must be made within 15 days of the delivery date.
